After the summer break, the UCI MTB World Series is back with one of the most iconic and unmissable stops on the calendar: Les Gets, France. From Friday, August 29 to Sunday, August 31, the Wilier-Vittoria MTB Factory Team will line up in full force, aiming to build on the strong performances shown last weekend in their return to racing.

Located in the Haute-Savoie region, Les Gets is a renowned ski resort that over the years has also become a true paradise for mountain bikers. Nestled near the Swiss border in the northern French Alps, it is part of the Portes du Soleil, one of the largest ski and MTB areas in the world. For more than 30 years, Les Gets has hosted prestigious international competitions, making it one of the most respected venues on the global MTB stage. Its trails have crowned UCI World Champions, World Cup winners, French Cup victors, and many more — awarding some of the sport’s most coveted medals and jerseys.

Just a short distance from home, Wilier-Vittoria will once again field its full roster: Simone Avondetto, fresh off his victory last weekend in Les Menuires (just a couple of hours from Les Gets), Italian Champion Luca Braidot and Juri Zanotti in the elite men’s races; Sofie Heby Pedersen in the elite women’s; U23 riders Elian Paccagnella and Gustav Heby Pedersen — currently 2nd overall in the XCC standings and 3rd in XCO — and Ella MacPhee, who continues to lead the women’s U23 XCO overall.
