The UCI and Warner Bros. Discovery Sports have officially announced the 20 teams selected for the UCI Mountain Bike World Series XCO 2025. Among these elite squads, the Wilier Vittoria MTB Factory Team proudly stands as the only Italian team to earn the prestigious "World Series Team" status.
The competition features powerhouse teams from across the globe, with four teams from France and the USA, three from Switzerland and Spain, two from Germany, and one each from Great Britain, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Italy. Wilier Vittoria Factory Team’s inclusion highlights its strength and competitiveness on the international stage.

A total of 15 teams were selected based on ranking points, while five additional teams received Wild Cards from the UCI to participate in all World Cup events. Riders who are not part of a World Series Team still have other opportunities to compete, such as Wild Cards for each race, eligibility based on elite rankings, and qualifications through the Continental Series.
This new team structure aims to elevate the level of competition in mountain biking, providing opportunities for both elite teams and rising talents worldwide.
Wilier Vittoria MTB Factory Team’s presence in the series not only represents Italy but also reinforces its status as a top contender in the sport.
